Our Rydges Melbourne refurbishment review!

Last week, Carla completed some site inspections in Melbourne and saw some incredible new and refurbished venues! Rydges Melbourne was first on the list having undergone a complete renovation and it didn’t disappoint. The transformation was impressive. They have changed everything from self check-in on arrival, to the gorgeous new colour palette in the bedrooms and throughout the hotel as well as adding a fantastic new Ballroom. It has beautiful high ceilings, a soft earthy colour scheme and an amazing AV system – perfect for our clients interested in an excellent tech set up.

The venue is completely self check-in, streamlining your arrival process. This was a great touch as it allows you to interact with the staff on a more personal level. Rather than being stuck behind a desk, you’ll find the Rydges Melbourne staff walking around, happy to have a chat and eager to give you assistance or guidance wherever needed. 

Located conveniently in the heart of the Melbourne CBD, Rydges Melbourne is easy to get to and very accessible as well. They have eleven flexible conference and event spaces, including their brand-new state-of-the-art Centre Stage function room. This venue is perfect for events of all sizes and can accommodate intimate groups or cater to an event of up to 500 delegates. Spanning 1500sqm across two levels, every element of the property has been completely transformed, with the inclusions of the best-in-market sound, lighting and music systems. For those needing a large projection, the ballroom has an amazing 7m x 4m LED screen.
