The Fantauzzo Brisbane – Art Series
The Fantauzzo Brisbane is named after the revered Australian painter Vincent Fantauzzo and is one of the Accor Group’s Art Series boutique hotels. Situated underneath the iconic Story Bridge in Brisbane’s CBD and overlooking the newly revitalised Howard Smith Wharves, the six storey hotel is inspired by the artist’s work and decorated throughout in Fantauzzo’s original artworks and giclee prints. Offering a 5-star standard with 166 rooms, a rooftop pool, bar and gym, the boutique hotel offers flexible set-up options for up to 200 people across its three natural light-filled event spaces. There’s also a private deck and cocktail bar adjacent to the conferencing facilities for networking events.

The W Brisbane

The Calile – Fortitude Valley
The Calile (pronounced kal-isle) has marketed itself as Australia’s first ‘urban-resort’, its 5-star design celebrating the warm Queensland climate with striking interiors in natural, high-end materials. The buildings’ architecture has taken inspiration from other hot-climate locales such as Greece and Italy. All 175 guest rooms feature balconies, with many of them overlooking the Instagram-worthy Calile branded pool. For high-end functions, the hotel’s two private rooftop terraces are a gift and The Grand Room caters for 130 people, theatre-style, with additional breakouts.

Hotel Indigo – Fortitude Valley
The 140-room hotel at 458 Brunswick St is the first Hotel Indigo signing for Australia and New Zealand, and is due to open in late 2020. Hotel Indigo Brisbane Fortitude Valley will be part of a mixed-use development that will encompass residences, commercial offices and retail spaces.

Howard Smith Wharves – Brisbane
Originally constructed in the 1930s, the Howard Smith Wharves project was initiated by the Queensland Government to provide locals with relief work during the depression. These astonishing spaces were mostly abandoned in the 60s but are now heritage-listed and have been refurbished into a stunning entertainment and lifestyle precinct. There are multiple event spaces, both small and large, with a maximum capacity of 1,000 people. A truly unique waterfront venue for all types of events including gala dinners, award nights, product launches, conferencing and cocktail parties.

City Winery – Brisbane
A converted warehouse at 11 Wandoo St, Fortitude Valley, is the new home for City Winery Brisbane with space for private functions and events, a modern Australian restaurant and private dining in the Winery’s cellar. City Winery Brisbane is a working micro-winery sourcing grapes from across Australia’s key growing regions. The winery and barrel room converts to a function space with room for up to 150 people, stand-up, and 80 seated. The restaurant and bar has seating for 70 guests with a private cellar for up to 20 people for smaller private dinners and events.

Fortitude Music Hall – Fortitude Valley
The Fortitude Music Hall is the largest grand ballroom, theatre-style venue in Australia. The main room of The Fortitude Music Hall has a breathtaking open floor space with a large mezzanine spanning the sides and back, overlooking the stage. The boutique Art Deco styling and exposed beam ceiling provide a fantastic platform for amazing event experiences such as customised lighting and aerial displays. Event capacities are 480 banquet-style (floor only), 2000 cocktail-style and 1100 theatre-style.
