Why should corporates conference in Coffs Harbour?
Your delegates will love Coffs Harbour, the only place in NSW where the Great Dividing Range meets the Pacific Ocean. Did you know that the CSIRO has confirmed Coffs Harbour has the most liveable climate in Australia?
The Coffs Coast business event community works collaboratively across the entire region. This allows us to reach out to our networks to coordinate experiences, off-site activities, partner activities, delegate gifts, exhibition booths, guest speakers, entertainers, additional AV, fresh local produce and transport options.
The Coffs Coast is easily accessible by car, plane or train, and is a relatively short commute from all areas of NSW, along with other Australian states and territories. Direct flights are available from Sydney Melbourne and Brisbane.
Why is Opal Cove a great conference hotel?
Because our team want the very best experience for our clients.
When you choose to conference on the Coffs Coast at Opal Cove Resort, you are able to focus on creating an amazing event program to ensure that you attract sufficient delegate numbers to create a viable event. We also have access to funding opportunities to conference on the Coffs Coast – we would love to discuss this with you.
What group size can you cater for?
Opal Cove is the largest resort, accommodation and conference centre on the Coffs Coast. We are able to cater for over 500 delegates in our pillarless ballroom and additional delegates in our smaller meeting rooms.
What types of groups would Opal Cove suit?
Opal Cove Resort suits a wide range of groups. Due to the size of the resort and the flexibility of our function spaces we have corporate clients that buy out the entire resort, along with Government organisations, Associations, incentive clients, sporting groups and international events.
What incentive product is available locally?
There is so much to choose from for Incentive Groups. We have Bucket List activities featuring world class golf courses, swimming with whales, skydiving and landing on the beach, helicopter tours, Gondwana rainforest, National Parks and waterfalls or learning to surf with a World Champion.
The Coffs Coast offers cultural experiences showcasing Gumbaynggirr culture, festivals and events. We have activities and tour operators that are not-for-profit and return funds to community projects such as Aboriginal education and revitalising language through the Bularri Muurlay Nyanngan Aboriginal Corporation. These activities can provide a ‘legacy’ in the local community long after the incentive group has departed the region.
We also have foodie experiences where guests can immerse themselves in a cheesemaking workshop. Some of our clients are now making camembert, haloumi, ricotta, fetta, yoghurt, quark, labne and mascarpone all from their kitchen at home after doing a workshop on the Coffs Coast!
What team building product is available locally?
Award-winning experiences include Treetops Adventures and Ziplining, Forest Sky Pier, Dorrigo National Park – World Heritage Rainforest, Two Tails Winery and Velvets Restaurant, Learn to Surf with a World Champion, The Cheesemaking Workshop, Dolphin Marine Conservation Park, The Butterfly House, Jetty Dive and Whale Watching, Swim with the Whales, The Solitary Islands Marine Reserve, Wajaana Yaam Adventure Tours, Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Cultural Experiences, The National Cartoon Gallery, Jet Ski rides, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Beach Bike Tours and The Big Banana.
